Tahoe Trip
We spent a relaxing week in a private community called Glenbrook, just past South Lake Tahoe. Pops, Auntie Em, Mason, Nathan, Bryce and I were all there for the entire week. Unfortunately Uncle Justin had to work so he was only able to be up there for a couple of nights.
We took a trip into Virgina City where we had lunch, walked around through the historic downtown, toured a church over 100 years old, and took a train ride that went past a number of old silver mines and through a tunnel. This was a highlight for Bryce. He absolutely loves trains and nothing is better than being on a train going through a tunnel.
Other activities included hanging out at the beach, going into South Lake Tahoe, relaxing at the house, and a hike to Vikingsholm (a home built on Emerald Bay in the early 1900's that is now a state park). Pops and Nathan also got in a couple of good bike rides, some fishing and an afternoon of golf.
Bryce developed an obsession with chapstick on this trip. He carried it around with him where ever we went.
