Disneyland - Day 3
Since we were up so late the night before, we took our time getting up and getting ready for the day. We packed a lunch to take into the park with us since we didn't leave the hotel until well after 10. We decided that Faith could nap in the stroller and that Bryce and Mandy could skip naps.
We had great timing, we arrived at the entrance to the castle just as Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, the Mad Hatter and a few other characters along with a band were putting on a little show. The kids really enjoyed this. We spent most of this day in Fantasy Land. The kids rode on all the little kiddie rides, including Dumbo, the Carousel, Teacups, Alice In Wonderland, and Its a Small World. We also rode the Matterhorn. I was surprised at how well Bryce did on the Matterhorn. The only part he didn't like was the abominable snowman. All the kids loved especially loved the Teacups and Its a Small World. Faith stood and danced most of the time on Its a Small World. I watched her instead of the singing dolls. All of us but Juli and the little kids also went on Thunder Mountain Railroad.
We left the park around 6, after having our fill of rides and met Sharon and Ross at Tortilla Joe's for dinner in Downtown Disney. The food was good and Sharon and Ross treated everyone to a wonderful dinner and two pitchers of Margaritas.
When we got back to the room Clay was just arriving. He flew down on his own in order to not miss as much work. Juli and Clay went out to get some dinner for Clay while we got the kids ready for bed.
