Faith 2 Years 7 Months

We are working on getting Faith to leave her binky in the bed. She has been biting holes in them. "Threw" away a bunch

Faith is officially potty-trained during the day. She can hold it for a very long time for a child her age. She's only had one or two accidents since she decided she was no longer wearing pull-ups during the day.

Faith can write the letter "F". She practices her writing while Bryce does his "work".

Because of the noise from the "worker-men" and being afraid of Bitsy getting her while she sleeps, Faith is napping in Nanny's closet. She thinks it is great to sleep in there. The best part is that it is dark so her naps have been longer.

Most mornings Faith will say "I don't remember the workermen, so I'm shy of them." She also won't sit in her normal seat at the kitchen table if workers are here because that is the closest seat to where construction is taking place. The funny thing is that she talks their ears off half the time, and the other half she is too shy to be near them.

She is starting to throw some huge fits, worse than ever before. Sometimes she'll scream for a good hour or more over the smallest things. Such a drama queen.

Bryce 4 Years 10 Months

Bryce is still into watching the Dinosaur Train. This is always the first show he asks for. He is also into super heros, Spiderman and Batman especially. I was hoping to avoid these things for a couple more years, but he learned about them from his friends at school. Then, at the consignment sale I told him he could choose any toy he wanted and what does he find, a bag full of little super hero guys, including Batman and Spiderman. When I tried to tell him I didn't want to buy him Batman or Spiderman toys he told me that I said he could choose whatever he wanted. I had to keep to my word so now he has the toys. Thankfully he has not yet been exposed to the fighting and darker side of these characters, but I know I won't be able to shelter him forever. He already makes them fight the bad guys.

Bryce has been loving having Nathan home more now that tax season is over. It is so cute how he wants to dress, eat, and do exactly the same as daddy.

He makes everything into a competition. He is always concerned about who is older, bigger, faster, better at x,y,and z, etc. I've really been working with him so that he doesn't say anything to hurt other people's feelings, including Faith's.

Bryce started Tball and is loving it. The coach is doing a great job teaching the kids how to catch, bat, run the bases, and be good team players. He is playing through Santa Rosa Parks and Rec. It should be a great into, as it is only 6 weeks long with one game and one practice a week. Unfortunately because of the late heavy rains his first practice was cancelled. He was really disappointed.
